What is Xeomin®?
When you squint, frown, or make other certain facial expressions, the brows contract, and your skin furrows and folds. As we age, our skin loses elasticity and causes these lines to become permanent. Xeomin® prevents these muscle fibers from contracting and temporarily reduces the furrow lines.
How is Xeomin® Performed?
Xeomin® injections are performed in our office and take no more than 10 to 20 minutes. A topical anesthetic is applied to the skin, and a very small needle is placed into the desired injection site. The results are typically visible in less than a week.
