Neck Lift in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, FL

As we age, our skin loses elasticity, causing it to sag and wrinkle. The skin on the neck is not as thick as other parts of the body, and therefore can wrinkle easily. Although we will never be able to turn back the clock completely, surgical procedures such as neck lifts can reduce or even eliminate the effects that time has on our skin. We serve patients in Palm Springs, Wellington, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Lake Worth, and all other surrounding areas.

How Can a Neck Lift Help Me?

A neck lift will rejuvenate your neck and jawline, giving you a fresh, youthful appearance that can make you look years younger. If you are suffering with excess skin or wrinkles due to sun damage, extreme weight loss, or simple aging, we can help. At Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach, you and your doctor will discuss your goals and options for a neck lift. A neck lift surgery can help you to achieve a smooth, tightened, and slimmer looking neck.

What is a Neck Lift?

A neck lift is a surgical procedure that concentrates on the jowls and loose skin and fat on the neck. The incision is made around the earlobe and behind the ear to the lower scalp, allowing access to the skin and fat in these areas so muscles can be tightened and excess fat can be removed.

Drink a lot of water before and after your surgery; water helps your body to heal. Additional preparation for your neck lift procedure will be discussed during your consultation.

Are There Non-Surgical Options for Neck Treatments?

If you are looking for treatments specific to the neck or under the chin only, but a neck lift is not right for you, we offer Kybella®. Kybella® is a skin rejuvenation product that destroys fat cells under your chin, ridding you of that “double chin.” Kybella® will reduce the fullness under the chin and leave you with a sculpted, well-formed facial profile. It is important to understand that Kybella® doesn’t tighten your skin, as it is used to melt fat. If you have an abundance of excess skin under your chin, then this may not be right for you. Schedule a consultation to discuss your concerns and our surgeons will help guide you to the procedure that is best for you.
