Am I a Good Candidate for Belotero®?
Candidates for Belotero® are generally healthy individuals who wish to smooth facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds. It is important that patients do not have a history of severe allergies, an allergy to lidocaine, a bleeding disorder, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What Results Can I Expect from Belotero® ?
Results from Belotero® will be noticed immediately. Although there is no downtime associated with Belotero®, patients may experience bruising, swelling, redness, or itching at the injection site, which should resolve on its own. Patients should also avoid strenuous activity and direct sun exposure for 24 hours or until swelling has gone down. Results from this filler are immediate, and last up to one year.
How Often Should I Receive Belotero® Injections?
Belotero® is not a permanent anti-aging solution, as this dermal filler will dissipate over time. You should receive your Belotero® injections every six months in order to maintain optimal results.
How Much Belotero® Do I Need to Receive?
The amount of Belotero® will be determined at your consultation. Your needs and goals are unique and will be discussed with your physician prior to your treatments. We make sure to develop customized treatment plans for all of our patients.
