Dr. Ernesto Hayn was born in Managua, Nicaragua and was raised in Miami. Since the age of six, Dr. Hayn dreamed of becoming a physician. The artistry and ability to change people’s lives through procedures such as cleft lip and palate patients drew him to plastic surgery.

Dr. Hayn completed his undergraduate studies from Boston University and went on to finish his medical doctorate at the Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico. He then continued his education at the Nassau University Medical Center, New York, which is a level 1 trauma center and an active academic and community service institution. At NUMC, Dr. Hayn completed his general surgery training and his fellowship in plastic surgery under the auspices of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group.
Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Hayn is also an active member of several professional societies, including the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Florida Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and the Palm Beach County Society of Plastic Surgeons. In 2011, he was appointed as the Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont, School of Medicine.
During his years of training, Dr. Hayn received extensive exposure in the fields of microsurgery, cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, cleft palate and lip repair, and post-bariatric reconstruction. His primary interest remains in the fields of body contouring and breast reconstruction. Dr. Hayn is currently on the staff of eight local hospitals in Palm Beach, and he also offers community service through the Caridad Center.
Dr. Hayn is fluent in both English and Spanish. His career is his passion, and he takes great pleasure in providing his patients with the best care.
