In 2003, Dr. Pillersdorf served as the President of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and he currently serves as the Division Chief at the Department of Reconstructive Surgery at JFK Medical Center.

Dr. Pillersdorf is a graduate from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He finished his residency training in Florida in general surgery and then moved on to complete his residency in plastic surgery from the Nassau County Medical Center in New York. Dr. Pillersdorf is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery.
He is a dedicated father who has been volunteering in several communities, and he has an avid interest in Project Access, which is a program for surgical patients who are not able to maintain insurance. Dr. Pillersdorf is a huge basketball and baseball fan and also enjoys a good round of golf. In 1991, he was a kidney donor to his only brother Gary, whom he admires.
