What is HydraFacial MD®?
HydraFacial MD® is a multi-step treatment to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, and remove impurities from the skin. It also replenishes the skin with antioxidants embedded in super-serums. This treatment can be customized to treat your unique skin needs.
How Much Does a HydraFacial® Cost?
We share pricing information during your initial consultation. To help ensure our patients can afford their cosmetic care we offer several financing options. We would be happy to discuss further during your consultation or appointment.
Am I a Good Candidate for HydraFacial MD®?
HydraFacial MD® is a great solution for those with fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, congested or oily skin, and signs of aging. This treatment works well for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
What Results Can I Expect from HydraFacial MD®?
Treatments are quick, only lasting 30 minutes each. There is no downtime associated with HydraFacial MD®, and patients can return to their everyday activities immediately. Makeup can even be applied directly after. To maintain results, it is recommended that patients continue treatments once a month.
How Does HydraFacial MD® Work?
The HydraFacial MD® is ideal for resurfacing all skin types and targets uneven skin tones, oily/congested pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. The HydraFacial MD® works in four easy, effective steps:
Step 1: Cleansing and Exfoliation. The vortex cleansing removes dead skin cells by brushing the upper layer of the skin. It then opens up pores to clean the skin and deliver its cleansing serum.
Step 2: Acids. This step uses salicylic and glycolic acids to help loosen deep poor debris and dirt. These acids are often used in chemical peels, and are extremely effective in acne treatments.
Step 3: Extractions. The HydraFacial MD® does not employ the traditional extraction process, which can be painful and irritating. Instead, it uses a vortex-extraction nozzle that acts as a vacuum. This removes blackheads and other impurities.
Step 4: Serum Application. This step uses the vortex-fusion tool, which infuses an antioxidant and collagen-rich serum into the skin to promote detoxification, rejuvenation, and hydration.
Is There Anyone Who Should Not Have the HydraFacial MD® Treatment?
One of the best things about the HydraFacial MD® is that it is gentle enough for everyone. It is effective for all skin types, skin tones, and skin textures. There is no downtime and no pain. It is highly recommended by our patients who have sensitive skin and do not like the discomfort of other procedures.
How Often Should I Get a HydraFacial MD®?
At Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach, we recommend a HydraFacial MD® treatment once a month.
