Because the treatment is so effective, many people believe that CoolSculpting® must be an intensive treatment, but it is actually very simple. You sit in a relaxed position while the CoolSculpting® device is placed on the area where you want to reduce fat. The device gently pulls the skin into a chamber and administers the fat-freezing energy. You may feel a slight cooling sensation. The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area.
After the treatment, you can go on with your day. No downtime. No recovery. You may notice that the area feels sore for the first day or two.
When to Expect Results from Your CoolSculpting® Treatment
CoolSculpting® can reduce fat on the arms, abdomen, thighs, chin, bra line and many other problem areas. After just one session, you may see some change to the area where CoolSculpting® was used, but the breakdown of fat cells does take some time. A single treatment may reduce your fat by 20% to 25% after four to six months. Some larger areas, such as the abdomen, will require more than one treatment to effectively reach all the fat cells with a CoolSculpting® treatment.
