Alan B. Pillersdorf, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Alan B. Pillersdorf is a skilled plastic surgeon with a reputation for caring, attention to detail and safety, and a commitment to staying at the forefront of his field. He has been in the practice of medicine for the past 25 years. As a decorated member of his profession, Dr. Pillersdorf has been on the prestigious list of Miami Metro Magazine's "Best Doctors in South Florida" five times. Dr. Pillersdorf is the President of the Palm Beach County Society of Plastic Surgeons, is the Vice-Speaker of the Florida Medical Association, and is on the Florida Board of Governors of the American College of Surgeons. He also served as the President of Palm Beach County Medical Society in 2003, and is currently Chairman of the Department of Surgery at JFK Medical Center. His commitment to surgical excellence is matched only by his commitment to his community, his patients and his professionalism.

Dr. Pillersdorf's surgical interests lie in the areas of minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopic brow lifts, ultrasonic liposuction, Smart Incision breast augmentation and facelifts. He has a passion for the massive weight loss patients and extensive experience in brachioplasty, medial thigh lift, extended abdominoplasty and breast lifts. He is also a dedicated skin care removal specialist.

Dr. Pillersdorf is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his post-doctoral training as a Resident in General Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center and as a Resident in Plastic Surgery at Nassau County Medical Center on Long Island, New York. Dr. Pillersdorf is Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, The American Board of Surgery, and in Hand Surgery. He is a dedicated father and enjoys his children including his son in medical school. He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys golf and his two dogs. In 1991 he was a kidney donor to his brother Gary whom he worships.
