 RESTYLANE® is designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours. It is a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. This synthetic acid carries no risk of allergic reaction. The most common areas for treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds  (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). With its unique ability to bind with water, RESTYLANE® remains in your skin for many months.
Since no pre-testing is required, a RESTYLANE® treatment can be performed almost immediately. It usually takes about 30 minutes depending on the type of correction you want. Most people find the injections relatively painless, but a topical anesthetic can be applied to the area prior to your treatment.  BOTOX® Cosmetic, or botulinum toxin type A, is a protein commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines, and lines on the neck. BOTOX® injections block nerve impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the face a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms.

 Excessive hair growth may arise from puberty, pregnancy, menopause, heredity, medication, diseases or many other causes. Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, the patient who is tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair – from depilatories, epilators and shavers to waxing and electrolysis – may welcome laser and intense pulsed light therapy with relief.
Lasers produce highly focused, intense beams of light that are absorbed by dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface and converted to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years. Multiple treatments are required for complete hair removal because the follicle must be “active” at the time of treatment and not all follicles are active at the same time. Treatments are needle-free and anesthesia-free, with most patients feeling nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.
The most common complication of the procedure is the regrowth of some hair, though it is usually finer and lighter than what was originally removed. Other, rare side effects include redness, swelling, burns and scarring.

 A vascular lesion is formed by abnormally large or numerous blood vessels located directly under the surface of the skin. These vessels may be visible through the skin or result in a red appearance of the skin. Examples of vascular lesions are telangiectasia or spider veins, port wine stain birthmarks, and strawberry hemangiomas. Laser treatment is safe and effective and there is little risk of scarring, bruising, or loss of pigmentation.
Treatment with the laser varies from patient to patient depending on the type of lesion, and the size of the affected area. Some lesions, like small broken vessels, will require only a few pulses, while others, like port wine stains, will require many more. Spider vein treatments will sometimes require more than one visit.

In 2007, the FDA approved the new wrinkle filler Perlane for the treatment of moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles. Like Restylane, Perlane contains hyaluronic acid—but the gel particles are larger allowing Perlane to reach deeper layers of the skin for enhanced volume and lifting power. Perlane's effects last for about six months.

Sculptra® is a safe, synthetic, and biocompatible material that is injected below the surface of the face skin. It provides a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of sunken cheeks, indentations, and hollow eyes. It is injected every 4-6 weeks. Sculptra is approved by the FDA for use in facial fat loss associated with HIV. It is not yet approved for cosmetic purposes but studies are ongoing.
