Cellulite Treatment
in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, FL

Cellulite is one of the most dreaded body issues that women face. Cellulite can appear regardless of your weight. Even the best diet and exercise program may not be able to rid your legs and/or buttocks of cellulite dimples. If you live in West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Springs, Wellington, Lake Worth or any surrounding areas of South Florida, schedule an appointment with one of our team of board certified plastic surgeons. There is no need to hide your legs any longer. Cellulite treatments are effective and available at any of our three convenient locations.

What are Your Cellulite Treatment Options?

Cellulite is persistent subcutaneous fat causing dimpling of the skin, especially on women’s hips and thighs. We utilize two non-surgical laser procedures – Cellulaze and VelaShape – to smooth out your skin’s surface and significantly reduce the appearance of cellulite.

What is Cellulaze?

Cellulaze offers a breakthrough treatment for cellulite with its laser precision and long lasting results. If you are among the many suffering from cellulite and have not seen any results with topical creams and non-invasive methods, Cellulaze is just the unique, unparalleled treatment you need.

How Much Does Cellulite Treatment Cost?

To determine the cost of your cellulite treatment, we invite you to schedule a private consultation at our practice. During your consultation, we will assess your cosmetic goals in order to pursue a treatment plan that matches your unique needs. Then, we will be able to provide you with a clear breakdown of the costs associated with your treatment. At Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach, we offer a wide array of monthly payment options to help you reach your individual wellness, beauty, and performance goals. We accept major credit cards, and our financing plans include CareCredit® and Alphaeon® Credit.

How Does Cellulaze Work?

This unique treatment targets the reason for your cellulite: the underlying tissue structure. Due to various causes including genetics, aging, hormones or weight fluctuations, the connective tissue under the skin can stiffen and make the surrounding fat cells become larger and push into your skin. This is how that awful cottage cheese effect is created, which is more visible under thin skin.

With the Cellulaze treatment, tiny incisions are made in the area to be treated and the unique SideLaze3D laser fiber is threaded through a cannula and into the incision. This levels out the fat, treats the dimples and stimulates the production of collagen, which in turn increases the elasticity and thickness of your skin. The broken down fat is then removed via the cannula.

What are the Advantages of Cellulaze?

Not only does Cellulaze target the tissue structure to eliminate the dimpled fat, but it also promotes collagen production to make your skin thicker. This further ensures smoother skin for up to 3 years.

What Can You Expect from Cellulaze Treatment?

The Cellulaze procedure takes about 1-1.5 hours, and there might be some discomfort and bruising. Your surgeon may advise you to wear a compression garment after the procedure. You will be able to resume your normal routine within a day or two and strenuous work within a week. You will continue to see improvement in the results for 3-12 months.

With various rigorous clinical studies, Cellulaze is now proven effective and a safe answer to all your cellulite woes. With more than 90 percent of those who had undergone the treatment being very satisfied with the results after a period of one year, previous treatments are no match to Cellulaze.

What is VelaShape?

VelaShape is a non-surgical procedure that uses radio frequency technology, laser light energy, and suction massage techniques to treat cellulite. It is currently one of the non-surgical procedures approved by the FDA for body contouring and reshaping.

If you suffer from cellulite, you are not alone. This lumpy, dimpled skin affects women of all ages, and contrary to popular belief, women of all shapes and sizes as well. In fact, it is estimated that nearly 80 percent of women age 20 and older are affected by it. Many women with cellulite feel a lack of confidence about their bodies and may be ashamed to wear short skirts, shorts, and bathing suits. While exercise can tone your leg muscles, it has no effect on the appearance of cellulite. There is, however, hope in the form of a new treatment known as VelaShape. VelaShape is not only used for cellulite, but also for toning. VelaShape II is the newest type of VelaShape offered on the market.

How Does VelaShape Work?

The radio frequency used in VelaShape is elos technology, which offers better control in both the amount of heat that is used, as well as the ability to target specific areas with greater precision. The precise heating ensures a safe, effective, fast treatment with no downtime. The result of VelaShape is:

  • Smoothing of skin’s surface with a reduction in cellulite
  • Circumferential reduction with shaping of the treated area

After just one session by one of our aestheticians, your skin will already feel tighter, but multiple sessions are required in order to achieve optimal results. The surgeons at Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach typically recommend six to ten sessions over the course of six weeks. Upon completion of your treatment sessions, your surgeon may still recommend treatments every so often for maintenance. One VelaShape session can last anywhere from about 20-40 minutes. During the procedure, an application device is moved over the areas you wish to target. The radio frequencies that are emitted through this device heats and stimulates deep layers of tissue, while the suction massage rollers smooth out your skin.

What is the Recovery Time from VelaShape?

Because VelaShape is non-surgical, no incision is required, no recovery time is necessary, and you will be able to return to work and your other regular daily activities immediately after each session. Many patients describe the VelaShape procedure as a comfortable one, comparing the sensation to that of a deep tissue massage. The procedure itself is painless. Though you may experience slight redness or bruising afterward, these side effects are quite common and will subside on their own in just a few days. Any pain or discomfort you may feel following the procedure can easily be managed through over the counter pain medications.
